Proposed: Three building auction complex, with hotel on 156 acres South of Indianapolis, to serve the 5- state area of all auction needs.
North left side elevation view of the hotel, and the bridge is on the left going to # 1 building.
As you peruse through the segments they are in sequence # 1, # 2, # 3, etc. because the drawings are too large for the page. Starting from the left and continuing to the right will enable you to piece together the overall view of the project.
Note the outside stairway on the left from the fourth floor to ground level. This is incorporated on all four corners of the building as well as 8 other stairwells inside the building to the basement area for fire escape purposes.
The design looks very complicated but in essence it is tilt up panels 12’6” wide x 21’ high and stacked 3 high. Each panel weighing approximately 11.5 ton with the lift points on top of the panel for easy installation. Each panel is welded to the building structure at several locations to insure integrity with the building. The panel forms will be made of fiberglass in several sections for easy removal from the concrete after it is set. The more difficult designs will incorporate use of liquid rubber molds, and the parts could be welded to the main panel structure.
Panels will be manufactured on site and hauled to the lift location to be placed on the building. Manufacturing of the panels will start 9 months before the 3 building complex ground is broken. This will allow the panels that have already been made to stay ahead of schedule for placement.
The wall on the porch or balcony of each hotel room is 42” high built with a slope on the top toward the inside of the porch allowing nothing to rest on the wall. This wall will give the tilt up panel the integral bracing needed for rigidity. As you stand on the porch the bottom of the arches is 8’ above the porch floor, and the width of the arches is 8’. There are two arches on each porch as well as two statues. This will give you plenty of room to look out on either side of the roman statues that are on the outside of the wall, and will help with privacy. The statue will be the size of the person declared to be immortalized in stone for all to see years later.
This is the first time a hotel will have the allowed space for something of this nature to take place without costing the hotel money. Let us say a young lady has her body scanned in roman attire and a mold is made and filled with a mixture of powdered marble and a polymer for rigidity making a smooth lasting surface. Then it is placed wherever she decides and bolted down as long as the space is not taken by another figure.
Now 20 years later as she returns to stay again with the hotel she can look up and say that was me back when. What other memories can you recall at any hotel except the bad points on your trip?
One of the specialty studios in the mall will take care of all of your desires. For the men who would like to represent a roman soldier with roman shields, spears, sandals with tie laces up the calf of the leg, so long as it is roman in nature and conforms to the overall theme the desire can be accommodated. The overall cost will be determined at the time everything is in place when the hotel is finished etc. With the present configuration there could be 1485 such statues around the building inside and out.
All outside rooms on the first floor will be 18’ plus 42” wall above ground level. This will ensure privacy at all times from prying eyes and still offer the comfort of the outside after a long day. The porches should be above the fly and mosquito line.
The porches will be 10’ wide x 25’ long and furnished with outdoor furniture. Two 32” wide colored concrete chairs will have 6” dense foam rubber and covered with vinyl like leather with a concealed zipper for easy removal for cleaning. Also built in the arm rest is a cup holder and connectors for a lap top. Reading lamps will be built into the back of the two chairs that are adjustable in elevation and height
One fold down table 3’ x 8’ table connected to the 42” wall between the statues that can be easily raised or lowered. 4 vinyl outdoor chairs to match the table will also be in the decor.
And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
And the evening and morning were the third day.
And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night, and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:
And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.
And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.
And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth.
Genesis 1: 12-17
