Proposed: Three building auction complex, with hotel on 156 acres South of Indianapolis, to serve the 5- state area of all auction needs.
North West elevation showing the corner of the car auction house, as well as the outside bleachers.
The present configuration of the bleacher seats are for 400 people with the possibility of a 25’ extension on each end of the bleachers to accommodate another 107 people if it is ever needed. The reason why the bleachers are outside the car auction house is, because of the size of the merchandise that will be auctioned off.
Once a month a half days auction could be devoted to selling motor homes of the larger size, and the rest of the day could be devoted to fifth wheel trailers, and smaller types of trailers two, and four wheel near the end of the auction. This type of merchandise will be driven past the bleachers for the best all round display for bidding. Different bid increments on the lower end will be displayed on the bidding box than for the larger more costly items.
The larger type of equipment will be displayed on the South 10 acres after it has been cleaned up. Let us take this scenario: a boat load of earth moving equipment from a huge job in Saudi Arabia arrives, and needs to be cleaned up, and washed and spray painted to its original color to bring top dollar. The back 10 acres can handle the task with ease. All of the equipment is lined up and ready for inspection weeks before the auction. The equipment is too large to drive by so all bidders have in mind what pieces they want to bid on. This is where the inside bleachers come into play.
A large TV screen will be set up in front of the bleachers with the picture and lot # displayed so there will not be a mistake on the item the bidder wants to bid on.
There will be a fixed lap top at each seat so the bidder can place his bid. The bid increments will be different than those used outside for other auction arenas. Larger increment amounts in proportion to this kind of auction will be on each lap top. The lowest bid increment will be $500, $1000, $5000, $10,000, $100,000 this will make a well-rounded auction for bidding. Management, and the owners of the equipment will set what increments the owner wishes to use.
A magnetic card with all of the lines of credit from the bidder is entered on the card. If he places a bid higher than the line of credit his lap top will not enter a bid. We are still trying to sort out all the scenarios that could happen. To write the software for this type of lap top, and to carry out the intentions, and go to a main frame is going to be a problem. We would like to keep it in house without going to Oracle to handle the speed needed for each bid in mili- seconds. Each lap top is hard wired so all cables have to be the same length to the main frame to bring the bid down to mili- seconds. If two people push the same bid increment at the same time who wins the bid? This comes down to a mili- second. It is always best to push the next increment if in doubt.
If you take any type of merchandise out of its intended environment, and try to sell it especially electronics the price will drop to scrap price, because no one knows if it will work. However if it is shown to be in working order then you have a chance to bring a fair amount of money. From riding lawn tractors, hand pushed lawn mowers, or for that matter any mechanical device that is not functioning at the time of sale, is just defeating to bring a good price. We know it will take labor to accomplish this task, but in the long run it should pay off for the seller and auction house.
And they made their father drink wine that night: and the first born went in, and lay with her farther; and he perceived not when she lay down, nor when she arose.
And it came to pass on the morrow, that the firstborn said unto the younger, Behold, I lay yesternight with my farther: Let us make him drink wine this night also; and go thou in, and lie with him. that we may preserve seed of our farther.
And they made their farther drink wine that night also; and the younger arose, and lay with him; and he perceived not when she lay down, nor when she arose.
Thus were born the daughters of Lot with child by their father.
And the first born bore a son, and called his name Moab: the same is the father of Moabites unto this day.
And the younger, she also bore a son, and called his name Ben-ammi: the same is the father of the children of Ammon unto this day.
