CHOP PLATES:  1911-1912 were prime years of production, with some items extending into the production years of 1914-1915. True chop plates measuring 10”-10 ½” in diameter are rare in any of the three colors known/shown here. Green examples prove to be most difficult to obtain!

WISHBONE Amethyst 9 inch Footed Plate.

WISHBONE Marigold 9 in. Footed Plate
WISHBONE Marigold 9 inch Footed Plate.

FOOTED 9” PLATES:  8”-9” footed bowls in a variety of a dozen colors are available. The same mould was used to create a three-footed 9” plate. They have been reported in only three colors: amethyst, green and marigold. Amethyst is the dominant color, with green and marigold examples being quite rare!

White and ice blue epergnes.

Ice GreeLime Green
Ice green and lime green epergnes.

Green and marigold epergnes.

Amethyst epergne.

SINGLE LILY EPERGNE:  As with all single-lily epergnes, these are highly desirable examples. They are “blessed” with the Basketweave  design exterior. The Wishbone design is found on the interior of the base, as well as on the lily. White, ice blue and ice green are quite rare, with amethyst and marigold examples being somewhat more available. Perfect examples in any color can be a challenge.

Summation: Please let your imagination prevail as you consider the glorious results of viewing the entire collection of (one each) in every color and shape when viewing the grouping in the late Roland Kuhn collection! Fantastically AWESOME!

Dean & Diane Fry, Jan. 2014
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
Therefore we will not fear, even though the earth be removed,
and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;
Though its waters roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with its swelling.
There is a river whose streams shall make glad the city of God,
the holy place of the tabernacle of the Most High.
God shall help her, just at the break of dawn. The nations raged, the kingdoms were moved;
He uttered His voice, the earth melted.
The LORD of  hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge.
Come, behold the works of the LORD, who has made desolations in the earth.
He makes wars cease to the end of the earth; He breaks the bow and cuts the spear in two;
He burns the chariot in the fire.
Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!
The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. (Psalm 46)
