HEAD - sold for$135. at Seeck Auction.
6.5 in. high, 13.25 in. brow circumference, 2.75 in. base.
HEAD: No particulars are known about this piece. We can only add the fact that we have seen a head in non-iridized medium blue color glass.
On the neck area was the word: SPAIN. It was included in a weekly auction we preview in the area where we live.

FAT BOY Sugar Shaker: This speaks for itself as an advertising element for Plochman & Harrison. No doubt “flashed” marigold.
MUSTARD JAR -
Iridized Smoke glass.

MUSTARD JAR: This smoke mustard jar is a “pride and joy” for Scott Beale! The metal top is trademarked, the base glass is smoke and the iridization on the honeycombed portion is quite nicely done. The base design is similar to Daisy and Button. Scott feels that it dates to the Victorian Era glassware. It is 3 ¼” tall, including top and has a 2 ½” base.

MASON JAR: 5” high x 2 ½” diameter. Each side of the square is 2 ½”. “Wireside” appears on the rim, although the jar is missing its lid/wire clamp closing. On the base: “K” “1874” and 5”. Made by Owens-Illinois Glass Co. at their Alton, IL plant during the ‘70s. Some have screw tops, while others have glass lids & wire bales.

LOCOMOTIVE: Nicely iridized and produced by St Clair for use as a candy container. It is seen in the Pruitt booklet on St Clair items
THREE BANDED FLUTES - maker unknown.

THREE-BANDED FLUTES Mug: Another example of the type glassware available in the years leading into the early 1940s. State Fairs are known to have sold them as souvenirs. Very likely, more than one manufacturer made them available.

ORANGE PEEL Sherbet

ORANGE PEEL SHERBET: Although the Orange Peel sherbet was originally produced in 1910, the original mould was altered in order to create this advertising result. Lance sent us these pictures in 2011, but gave no information about where he found the piece. This is the first one we have seen. It would be nice to learn how long ago these were created.

BLOWN Vase with metal bracket: Angela says she bought this in Mexico. We think it is within the realm of art glass, having been blown into the metal hanging bracket. She provided a photo of the base, revealing the fact that it is blown glass. We have not seen any other example of this type. and would appreciate hearing from any of our viewers, should they have information surrounding its origin.
