VINTAGE Lamp - Courtesy Jerry & Carol Curtis..
VINTAGE?: At the suggestion of Jerry Curtis who supplied this specimen, we label the lamp with a name which could be changed, provided someone can properly identify the design. Having no recognizable markings, Jerry thinks that perhaps the mark on the control tab may lead to the manufacturer of this curious oil lamp. (3 1/8” high to top of glass screw top, 4 ¼” base diameter, 4 ½” top diameter, girth measurement through finger loop, 14”, 24-rayed star on bottom, 6 bunches grapes around girth, 3 bunches grapes have 2 leaves, 3 bunches grapes have only 1 leaf, 6 leaves with tendrils directly over the grapes around the top, 3 piece mold with finger loop affixed over one of the mold lines.) PEACOCK Lamp Bases/Vases: These are iridized inside. Outer surface is clear glass. The late Bill Carroll of Los Angeles once placed an Efferdent tablet and water inside a red one to clean out some visible residue and much to his chagrin, discovered next morning that all the paint had soaked loose! Reportedly, these Peacock pieces were produced by Hocking Glass Co. in Lancaster, Ohio. A lamp with the original factory sticker has been found to authenticate the manufacturer.

RUFFLES & ROSES Lamp: This Consolidated lamp brought $800. when Remmen Auctions sold the glass included in the Tampa Bay C.G. Club 2009 Convention.
A LATE GRAPE Lamp!
LATE GRAPE LAMP: Some “enterprising” soul discovered a method for transforming this helios Imperial Grape wine bottle into a lamp.
Candlestick Lamps -
15 in. tall including shades.-
Candlesticks are 8.5 in. tall.
FLORENTINE BASE lamp pair: A little imagination and the need for a pair of unusual, “conversational-type” lamps brought these about.
Left - Wall Lamp with Castle Scene on Shade.
Right - Gooseneck Student Lamp with Hand-Painted Poppy Shades. - $200. - 1-8-05.
CZECH Lamp shades: Shades such as these are said to have been painted in Czechoslovakia.

Right - FLORAL CHRYSANTHEMUM oil Lamp - Jack Adams collection.
BUTTERFLY and SINGLE FLOWER + CHRYSANTHEMUM Table lamps: are unusual examples of iridized antique finery which were included when glass from the Jack Adams collection was sold in St. Louis.
