STAR MEDALLION Round Bowl: Marigold, clambroth, smoke are known colors. A very scarce dome-footed small bowl exists in this pattern. It is seen in marigold only. Square bowls in the 6”-7 1/2” size are to be found in marigold, clambroth and smoke.
STAR MEDALLION Milk Pitchers: Known in marigold, clambroth, smoke, this is probably the most often found shape within the pattern. Smoke color will present a slight challenge in your search.
April 1931 Butler Bros. Ad: Displays several shapes made in depression green and pink glass. This indicates the desirability of the pattern for its practical purposes, no doubt.
The iridized Star Medallion shapes were made in a wide variety of shapes for an extended period of time well into the late 1920s. Smoke glass made by Imperial can be quite beautiful, and it is a pleasant departure from the more sublime colors, such as marigold and clambroth. Imperial factory catalogs list the pattern as their #671.
