This is a category of collecting carnival glass which enthralls and offers extended variety! Many carnival glass auctions offer none at all, while others will have a few to select from. Checking into sales over a period of five years relates several dozen change hands.

Considering the fact that hatpin production took place prior to manufacture of carnival glass examples of larger and table use variety, one might think that more hatpins should be available. Perhaps the hatpin era went the way of the large brimmed hats they were intended to anchor? Toss and dispose methods have eliminated many items of past history.
