BANDED FLEUR DE LIS: Named Imperial's #5 by this firm, it is one of the earliest designs, having appeared in non-iridized crystal in the spring 1906 Butler Brothers catalog. Carnival versions appeared early-on, circa 1909-1910, although its run apparently was a very short one. The three known shapes are quite scarce.
Dome-footed, ruffled, 7- 9 bowls are known in marigold and amber, with the amber examples particularly difficult to find. The pedestal-based, 6 tall celery vase in marigold is not much easier to locate, and when it comes to the rose bowl shape, the odds of obtaining one, become next to impossible!

FANCY FLOWERS: This lovely pedestal footed large bowl or compote is known in marigold and helios. The pattern is exterior and found only on this shape. This is a very scarce Imperial pattern called #737 in their factory catalog. A quite impressive, near-cut pattern with plain interior surface. The very short stem rises from a scalloped edged foot and stands 4 ½ - 5 tall. As with most relative unknown patterns, little interest is generated with an appearance of one of these pieces. Perhaps if a purple example should surface, attitudes would shift?
Fancy Flowers was reproduced in 1966 in marigold and smoke, carrying the IG trademark.

SNOW FANCY: In addition to this lovely near-cut pattern being listed in a 1922 Butler Brothers Wholesale Catalog assortment, along with other known Imperial designs, the berry set is displayed in this accompanying ad displayed in the Imperial Catalog 104A.
The breakfast set with open sugar and creamer are found somewhat more often than the bowls, with none of the shapes determined to be readily available. These sets have only been found in marigold.
Berry bowls of 4- 5and 8- 9 are known in marigold and purple, white and helios.
OVAL and ROUND 8.5 in. Ruffled Master Berry Bowl
OVAL and ROUND: Produced in non-iridized crystal prior to the carnival glass era, this was one of the earlier Imperial patterns. Similar in design to both Three Row and Two Row vases, it is listed in Imperial factory catalogs as #89. The catalog lists only berry sets and a large 10 flat plate when produced in crystal. These same shapes are found in marigold, along with an occasional rose bowl shape, made from the 8 ½ berry bowl mold. Rose bowls are known only in marigold. The smaller berry bowl size is 4 ½.
Purple berry bowls are quite rare. Helios examples have been found and they are probably more rare than the purple ones. Since that color is not popular with collectors, little attention is paid to them. Master berry bowls have been reported in amber.
The 10 chop plate is found in marigold and are really quite rare and underrated. At least one plate is known in amber.
