INVERTED THISTLE Compote

We are pleased to display pictures of a compote not previously recorded. Dee and Gary Perras of Canada have been collectors for 35 years, and have several other Cambridge pieces, but none such as they proudly discuss for us.

This compote is 7 ¾” high, 9” across the top, and has a 4 ¼” wide base. It is in pristine condition with only a small strawmark. They found it about ten years ago at a flea market in Ottawa, Canada.

With this entry into the arena of scarce Inverted Thistle examples, the pattern becomes ever more interesting! We thank these folks for sharing their lovely compote with us and our viewers!
