Twelve pot furnace. Heat is unbearable in July and the cold air duct around the furnace
is all the relief you have. Every 18” is a damper for cold air around the furnace. Notice the 2 steel 1 ¼” rods completely around furnace for rigidity, as well as 3” steel strap-upper part of furnace. Must  have had a separating problem in the past. Also notice an open door in the chimney just below cold air duct.
