This is the large Heirloom Carnival covered butter dish made by Indiana Glass in the 70's. It was made in red or sunset carnival as well as amethyst or purple carnival glass. It is a two piece set. The butter bottom measures 7 1/2 inches across and this stands about 5 inches tall.
