This is the blue carnival glass Tidbit set made by Indiana Glass in the mid 70's. These are miniature Hostess Plates. They measure 6 1/2 inches across and were made to go with the blue carnival Hostess Plate. These were only made in blue carnival glass. They were NOT made in gold or lime green.
These were sold two to a box. They were made in an effort to revive sales. The blue Hostess Plate was a top seller so these little plates were made with the thinking that everyone who bought the Hostess Plates would buy these to go with it. That did not happen. The Tidbit sets are scarce. They are also hard to find as it is not easy to tell the size in pictures. Pay attention to the seller's measurements if you look for these on Ebay. If no measurements are given, ASK. You may be passing some by.
