RINDSKOPF GLASS - PART 1
![]() INCA Vase - 12 inch tall x 9 inch diameter.
INCA: These are handsome vases in iridized form. Glen Thistlewood reports that a non-iridized example in vaseline glass is known.
![]() ![]() ![]() Left - PEBBLE and FAN in Marigold - 11 inches tall.
Middle - PEBBLE and FAN in Blue - 11 inches tall.
Right - PEBBLE and FAN in Blue - Not Irridized.
PEBBLE & FAN: is a favorite among vase collectors. Marigold examples are quite striking. In addition to iridized vases, Jim Wroda provided a photo of this medium blue vase which is non-iridized. Glen Thistlewood made mention of known examples found in pink and in light blue which are not iridized. Seems that a NY importer named George Borgfeldt accounts for these. Pause for thought is this: Moulds for American made glass have circulated the globe since the era of vintage carnival glass ended, so we might consider that just as the orient is known to produce their versions from purchased moulds, some enterprising manufacturer may have recently made these non-iridized forms from the old Rindskopt moulds??
