Marigold SWIRL RIB Vt. Water Set #4 - Courtesy Van Blarcum.
SWIRL RIB Pitcher Vt. No. 4 + Tumblers: This more bulbous shaped example is not truly round, but more of a tear-drop shape. Rarely found, but having a crimped top and known only in marigold. The example displayed here is not trademarked in the base, although the tumblers each have the Northwood N in the bottom. Pictures are courtesy of Van Blarcum. The pitcher is 9 ½ tall x 6 across the top @ spout. Tumblers are 4 tall x 3 across the top. Northwood SWIRL RIB Vt. #2 - Marigold.
SWIRL RIB Pitcher Vt. No. 2: This is the most easily found among the eight known shapes. 12 tall in tankard shape and known only in marigold.

SPRINGTIME Water Set: Although this pattern was produced in Berry Set, Table Set and Water Set, it remains one of the more difficult designs to locate. Production dates from 1910-1911, but must have been limited. Green water sets are more difficult to locate and other colors are amethyst and marigold. Configuration of this water set is identical to that of the Singing Birds set.
IB & White RASPBERRY Pitchers - 8.5 in. high.
RASPBERRY Water Set: A Spring 1911 Butler Bros. Catalog Ad advertises this set. They are fairly easy to locate today, so production must have been abundant. Marigold, amethyst, green, cobalt blue, white, ice blue and ice green are available. A water pitcher in vivid lime green shade has also been found. There is a 7 1/8th in. milk pitcher known. The water pitchers are 9 tall.

GREEK KEY Bowls: Known in collar-based 8-9 bowls in marigold, amethyst, green, cobalt blue and ice green, along with 9 collar-based plates in marigold, amethyst, green and cobalt blue and a scarce water set in marigold, amethyst and green. 7-9 dome-footed bowls and a water set are found in marigold, amethyst and green. The pattern first appeared in iridescent form in 1909. The bowls can be ruffled or have pie crust edge.
It is a pleasure to display the first known white example in this pattern!

GRAPE & CABLE 9 Plate: The collar-based plates can be smooth or stippled. The smooth examples may have a Basketweave or plain exterior. These are known in marigold, amethyst, green, clambroth, lavender, and a very rare ice blue.
Said to be the only known IG 9 in. NIPPON plate.
NIPPON 9 Plate: Said to be the first known plate in Ice Green! A plate in this pattern is treasure in any color! Marigold, amethyst, green, white, ice blue and aqua opalescent are known colors as well. Only three plates are known in white, and one in ice blue. Production dates from the 1911-1912 period. It was one of the first Northwood patterns to be offered in pastel colors.
Sapphire ROSE SHOW Bowl.
ROSE SHOW Bowl: These ruffled 8-9 bowls are desirable in any color. A 1912-1914 production item, it is believed to be an item made by Northwood for George Mortimer. The 9- 9 ½ plates are not found in as many colors as these 8 -9 ruffled bowls. Marigold, amethyst, green, cobalt blue, white, ice blue, ice green, aqua opalescent, lime green, ice blue opalescent, ice green opalescent, horehound, aqua, sapphire blue, powder blue opalescent, and marigold on custard are all desirable and admired by collectors.

PEACOCK @ FOUNTAIN Berry Sets: A Spring 1912 Butler Brothers catalog ad displays the table set, berry set and water set. That same ad continued to appear with an ever-increasing wholesale price through 1917, indicating the popularity of each grouping. Most often seen in marigold and amethyst, cobalt blue and white are considered scarce. The ice blue and ice green are not often found and green is considered the rarest of colors!
